The Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both wpmen and men to comit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their fath in worship, prayer and action.
The Tay and Lyon Churches Guild held its first meeting for 2 years in the Molteno Hall, Fortingall, and the members decided that the preferred day and time for meetings was a Thursday afternoon. Now that the Guild can no longer meet in the Kenmore Hotel, a suitable venue will be arranged for each meeting. There are about 20 subscription members but numbers at meetings are enhanced by visitors as well some of the spouses of members. All are welcome.

On behalf of the congregation, the members of the Guild organised a lunch during Lent on 27th March. After our Church service , a warm welcome; a selection of homemade soups; a crusty roll and plenty of sweet treats were on offer in the Molteno Hall, Fortingall. The hall had been beautifully set up with floral table decorations; since that Sunday was also Mothering Sunday all ladies present were able to take a floral table decoation away with them afterwards. Thank you to all who helped to organise this event and to everyone whom was able to join us to enjoy our lunch. Thank you also for the generous charity donations made at the event.
